The Salvation Cafe combines a fun and homey atmosphere with an intriguing multi-ethnic menu of well-prepared dishes. Their acclaimed butternut squash and sweet potato soup ($2.50) is always on the board. The jerk sampler ($5.95) comes with fried slices of sweet potato, tender chicken, and grilled shrimp. Among the entrees are bay scallops sauteed with ginger, garlic, lime and soy sauce over rice ($10.75), grilled salmon fillet ($11.75) with a cilantro sauce, and roast pork loin ($11.50) with fennel and garlic.
